It's easy to be strong. We just have to lose our fear
of seeming weak. When we dwell too long on our social standing, we become disempowered
. By caring too much about how we may be judged, we grow dependent on approval and applause. The integrity of our individuality is compromised. We must, of course, be aware of people's feelings - and sensitive to them. Weakness
that stems from a desire to avoid doing harm, is strength. Strength
shown out of a desire to look good - is weakness!
As the title says. This is my nonsensical, unintelligent rambling on anything and everything. Just my experiences and my thoughts and has no inference or reference to anyone. Some may be funny, some heartwarming and some even downright stupid. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy writing them. :-)

Thought of the Day
There are some things we can never know, some questions we can never answer and some situations we can never understand. It doesn't matter whether we're scientists or philosophers, mystics or psychics, the insights we yearn for will elude us all, equally. So, should we all just give up now because we will never attain enlightenment? We cannot help but feel a little sad about something that we seem to have lost. Just need to be glad that we ever had it at all. And don't be so sure that we know what the future holds.

Wonder what Mark is showing the Red Bull
Team? A video of him hounding Vettel's rear in the British GP ;-)

TOTD
They say that you should not push your luck. What do they know? Luck is like a wheelbarrow. It was made to be pushed! If you leave your luck just lying around the building site of existence, and refuse to load it up and then trundle it along towards the future, you will waste its potential entirely. Nothing will ever get constructed. If you go a little too far? Then the worst you will have to do is turn around and come back again.

TOTD
Imagine being starving hungry. Now imagine being offered a choice. A gigantic candy bar? Or a nutritious, delicious meal? There is just one catch. The good food won't be ready for a while - and you'll have to travel much further to get it. And remember, it is a choice. One or the other. Now, what are you going to go for? Hmmm, I wonder. Some easy options are hard to resist. Worse, once we get into the habit of taking them, we find ourselves forgetting all about the better solutions. It not easy to do what's right, but it will be possible and infinitely preferable.

Now open for your story!!
Wow... I'm pleasantly surprised... People want to write in their stories on my blog... I'm totally blown away... I didn't think people even read it... Woohoo!
So its now open to any and everybody. All those interested can email in their story to looneygeek@gmail.com. Your identity will not be disclosed. You can create a fictitious ID and email it from there so even I do not know who you are. AND another thing. I want to change the name and move these stories to another blog. So feel free on recommending a name for the blog.

Thought of the Day - William Blake
'A truth
that's told with bad intent beats all the lies you can invent.' That quote
comes from William Blake
, a remarkably clever chap. It is so woefully, painfully, opposite. Nothing hurts like the truth. Nothing does more damage. Nothing cuts more deeply. To turn the truth from a noble shield to a vicious sword, you don't even have to twist it. You just have to give it the slightest quizzical spin. 'I see. And you thought that was the right thing to do, did you?' But the truth is never be afraid of anything.
